Daniel practices primarily in the civil law division of Curry, Pearson & Wooten. Published cases of note include Gilding v. Carr, 608 F.Supp.2d 1147 (D. Ariz. 2009), which focused on the doctrine of federal preemption. Daniel is currently working on an aviation law textbook with Michael Pearson that is scheduled for publication in 2012.

Originally intending to become a high school English teacher, Daniel earned a degree in English from the University of Washington. He financed his education in large part through writing scholarships and teaching positions. After moving to Arizona to be closer to his family, Daniel changed his focus to the law and enrolled at the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. He graduated with distinction in 2008. While attending law school, Daniel worked for the county prosecutor's office, where he obtained valuable insight into the workings of county government.
