Mesa Man Arrested on Drug Charges After Selling to Undercover Officers

A 21-year-old Mesa man was arrested on Thursday, April 19th, on drug charges after he agreed to sell drugs to undercover officers in Mesa. Police say that Jaren Moore, of Mesa, agreed to sell psilocybin mushrooms to the officers. Officers then secured a search warrant and were able to search Moore’s apartment near US 60 and Gilbert Road. 

During the search, officers found the mushrooms along with cocaine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a digital scale. A 9mm handgun was also found in the apartment. Before the search was complete, Mr. Moore returned to the apartment and had a .25mm handgun on him. 

Police arrested Mr. Moore on drug, drug paraphernalia, and weapons charges. Police have stated that Moore has a previous history of conviction for narcotic drug possession, paraphernalia, and disorderly conduct.
